On the occasion of the birth of Prince François on 27 March 2023 at the Grand Duchess Charlotte Maternity Hospital in Luxembourg, the grand ducal family has gained a new member. Prince François is the second child of the Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and the Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie, joining his elder brother Charles. In honour of this happy birth, the Banque centrale du Luxembourg has the pleasure to issue a one-ounce collector coin in 999 silver. This collector coin has been minted with the greatest care in the workshops of the Royal Dutch Mint and comes in a case with a certificate of authenticity. It is available in a limited edition of just 1000.
