With the accession to the throne of His Royal Highness Grand Duke Guillaume on 3 October 2025, Luxembourg is renewing the national side of its circulation coins for the first time since the introduction of the euro. This bag brings together five complete series featuring the sovereign’s new effigy, the work of the artist Chiara Principe. The Grand Duke is shown in profile facing left, mirroring that of Grand Duke Henri, in keeping with tradition at each change of reign.

It is completed by five examples of the 2026 €2 commemorative coin dedicated to the accession to the throne of Grand Duke Guillaume, an issue that coincides with his 45th birthday.

The coins, in circulation quality, are presented in a sealed bag.
