On October 7, 2000, Grand Duke Henri took the oath before the Chamber of Deputies, becoming the 6^th monarch of the Luxembourg-Nassau dynasty. Since the beginning of his reign, he has upheld the values of solidarity, justice, and tolerance, supporting cultural, sporting, scientific, environmental, and social initiatives alongside Grand Duchess Maria Teresa.
In 2025, the Banque centrale du Luxembourg celebrates this 25^th jubilee of accession to the throne with a one-ounce gold coin.
